The Perfect Crime

"The Perfect Crime" is a top-down puzzle/stealth game based on Unreal Engine 5. Players, within limited action points and a time loop, constantly try different approaches: using suitcase passwords, chemical kits, and baking soda to clean up acid and erase traces of poisoning; then using a pistol and a rag to fake a shooting scene, and iterating on the "perfect crime" based on feedback from newspaper reports. As a Gameplay/Systems Engineer (C++), I was responsible for the core interaction and puzzle systems: implementing the suitcase password safe (number input + check + event trigger) in C++, as well as technical prototypes such as mirror reflections and security camera views, and decoupling the action point and UI systems from the blueprint using reflection interfaces.
