Glowing
Glowing is a therapeutic VR experience developed as a team project for my senior-year game development course. Set in an ancient Chinese-inspired world, the game guides players to heal a wounded mythical creature through interactive traditional medicine rituals. As the lead gameplay engineer, I was responsible for designing and implementing the core systems, including the multi-stage herbal crafting pipeline, creature AI state machine, level/scene management, and XR interaction logic with haptic and audio feedback. I also collaborated closely with designers and artists to integrate narrative beats into the interaction flow, ensuring that the technical architecture could support a smooth, emotionally coherent player experience.
